I couldn't be happier and wanted to share!  The news my husband & I (and our parents!!) have wanted to hear: I'm in remission and we can start trying to conceive.

I'm jumping out of my skin with excitement - I can't tell anyone in my "non-virtual" life because I'm afraid I'll jinx it.  So can we have a virtual celebration right here???

Congrats to you Newlywed! I am excited for you and don't even know you. There is nothing more exciting than a new baby - so get working on it!!! Best wishes.

So happy for you and your hubby! But like MBJOH said......Get working on it!!! Us Crohnie auntie & uncles are waiting for our new niece or nephew!!! Good luck to you both! Children are truly a gift! (sometimes, lol)

Congrats!!! I just turned on my computer because I'm waiting to hear from one of my friends who is due to pop any moment and figured I would check out what was up here too. I hope you are able to get pregnant quickly and have a healthy pregnancy with a happy healthy baby as the end result! Best wishes and get started already!

Congratulations!!  Just wanted to tell you that I have 3 healthy perfect little boys who I had while having active crohn's (that was undiagnosed till after I had #3).  And I was able to get pregnant very easily.  My best friend from High School also has a 1 year old son that she had while dealing with crohn's, so it is definitely possible to have a easy pregnancy and healthy baby with crohn's.  Good luck to you.

Hope all your waiting and patience brings you all the joy and happiness you all can take.... Keep in touch and let us know how you are doing. Have you started on the nursery and what's the little ones name going to be? I guess we"re in for some exciting months ahead. lol gail

Newlywed3....what great news!!!! Babies are such a blessing....they somehow make all of our suffering easier to bear....the love you will feel for this little one will overwhelm you....
Good luck...you are in my prayers! I had two beautiful girls 14 months apart while in full CD flare. They were just fine. They are my life.
My youngest is expecting in 39 days but who's counting LOL we are so excited.
don't waste a minute, GET STARTED, and let us know so we can all share in your joy.

Congratulations! There's nothing more wonderful and exciting that a new baby. I have 3 daughters and 2 granddaughters and they give me more happiness than I can describe. I have suffered with CD for over 42 years, and my girls were born perfect and healthy.

so happy for you. I hope I will get the go ahead sometime in 2008...need to get this fistula/CD under control first then a colonoscopy when I feel in remission to then get the okay. Best luck an dwishes :D
