confused  Does anyone with Crohn's have night sweats, so much as to need pajama changes?  There is no measurable fever ... upon waking and taking temperature, the temp is normal or below normal.

Hi You betcha we do had them for 2 years and they finally stopped after my doseage of Rem. was doubbled .I used to keep extra PJ's on the bed for changing in the night. I know there are lots of people on here who are having them seems to go with CD. My temp is always below normal and it did not go up with the sweats. lol gail

I had night sweats a lot when I was first diagnosed still do but not as offten now.

It could be your night sweats are medication induced. I have noticed the night sweats to be worse since I started Prednisone, but I'm also peri-menopausal, so it's hard to figure out if it is really just hormones. I do change pajamas and sometimes even my pillow case!

Had the night sweats when I was first diagnosed also. Think they may have been due to the prednisone the doc put me on. Went away after I tapered off .

Hm, I've had a problem with night sweats over the past few months and never really connected it to the crohn's until now...i sleep with a huge fan blowing right on me, otherwise my hair is drenched when i wake up.

Glad mkl11 and clavman reminded me of relationship of sweats to steroids ... I'm on Entocort.

yeah, i too had the night sweats off and on.  i would check my temp before going to bed, in the middle of the night, and in the morning.  all came back normal.  (i kept track of temp to find out if that was the culprit).  i too was confused, but for me it's opposite.  I was on no meds at the time and now that i'm on entercort i've been fine, so go figure  =]

I had them so bad last night, along with pain that woke me up, i had to change my pjs and my sheets...seriously! I'm on skin is on fire but I'm still cold and covered in blankets...i hate this disease!

When I'm in the middle of a flare, my night sweats become so bad that I'll wake up drenched from head to toe. My fingers and hands are actually pruned like I've been in the pool and my hair is soaking wet. Usually when this happens I have to wake up and change sheets twice a night. blah.

im on prednisone and  its not rare for me to wake up with less clothing on then i went to bed with.... i have 3 fans in my bedroom at all times of the night. no good.

Been there, done that, got that tshirt. It went away when I went on remicaid, thank god.

I'm not on drugs yet, as I'm newly diagnosed and waiting for a colonoscopy (yes, I probably spelled it wrong again.) but yes, I've been getting night sweats ever since the symptoms got really bad. I just sleep nekked and keep a towel by the bed.

I have the night sweats everynight.  I now have 5-6 shirts & pj bottoms next to my bed.  In the past week, I have had to change 5-6 times.  I'm not kidding, I don't know what to do???  I'm like the others, wet as could be, but, freezing at the same time.  Does anyone know of anything to stop it, even if its our medications?  God Bless
