What is latest on clinical trials with apheresis adacolumn and charcoal treatment for crohn's ?

I haven't heard anything lately about the Adacolumn trials. UKPup was in one but had to withdraw due to disease activity not responding fast enough. But he doesn't drop in here too often.

I haven't heard anything about any charcoal treatment for Crohn's, but then my gut had been behaving and I was off on other interests.

I tried to call just yesterday about an Adacolumn trial in Washington, it was closed to enrollment...

I was indeed in the Adacolumn trial. I still don't know if I was getting the real thing or not. You can read about it by clicking on the link in my signature. I was able to take 5 before having to bow out of it. I ended up getting prostititus and having to be hospitalized due to it.

I can answer some basic questions if you have any.

Thanks guys. Just wondering if only we could put away all drugs aside,,,,and once a week pipe or charcoal will cure us.
