im on asacol and azathioprine, but have this past few weeks been feeling worse than i have for a while. been on the azathioprine for three months. ive vomited a few times while on the toilet and have great pains when passing stool, it feels as if it is having to push through a barrier.seeing my specialist christmas eve, but just wanted intial advice. im feeling ok in general it only when im on the toilet that im in pain and sick.

any advice would be great thank you

Hi Maybe your a little C you could try low roughage to see if that helps do you have rectal issues with your CD? lol gail

Hello,last year I did the same thing,EVERY morning I would have to throw up to go to the bathroom,I do have a stricture,my GI put me on Imuran and within a short time those symtoms completely stopped

So,I had another scope which showed decreased inflammation,but not as much as he wanted,so he put me on Humira in September,so I will have another scope in January to see if the inflammation has gone down more,he hopes to open the stricture with a scope then. Hang in there.
