bowel transit...I thought this one would be an EASY test

I finished my three days of capsules of washers for my bowel transit test yesterday and had my first xray today. I saw the screen and lots of little circles in the area above my belly button, where I have pain. I go back friday for the next one. so I thought this was an easy test, but since I can't take glycolax...all I gotta say is ow. things are moving, kinda, but not comfortably. I am in lots of pain, popping vicadin, and hoping that they are either all gone on friday, or still there in such an obvious way that the docs decide what the hell is wrong with me.

going on TWO years with pain every day and no answers; I am patient woman but I might lose it soon. yp

i have never heard of this test, doesn't sound too pleasant :/ sorry to hear you have to go through with it but maybe they will have some answers for you. that would be nice!

What kind of transit test? I had one last year, but it sounds much different. I had to eat radioactive eggs and then have pictures taken every few minutes for what seemed like forever until they had passed. I did get to watch which was cool, similiar sounding pictures though. Little dots moving around, floating and eventually much fewer. I do hope they can finally give you some answers. At least it sounds like they haven't given up and are still looking and bringing out every test possible.

Man, that sounds bizarre, I've never seen one of those tests before...I wish I could be more helpful, but this is a new one for me. I'm sorry you are hurting. Those pain pills are a double-edged sword for sure. Poor chica! Do you have to go back and forth to work for these appointments? Sounds like a real pain in the arse (literally and figuratively)...

it isn't too far to have the xrays and it is only every 3 days, so not too bad. thank you for your kind notes--I do love this place.
I can hardly breath tonight and feel awful. time to watch a crazy, violent movie, my fave way to waste time!
