I have a question about
flare ups, how long do they normally last if they have a set limit?

I've had flares that lasted from about
4 weeks to 2 months. It all depends on how soon I get to the doctor and what he does about
it.

There is no set limit. A flare is just another name for having symptoms of active disease. If you don't or can't get it under control it can last for years. If you're able to get it under control it will last until your medications kick in.
