Well I finally went to my GI ( it took a week of me calling him everyday befroe i got an appointment) He seems to think that all the pain and fevers i have been having lately might not be my crohns but appendicitis. Two years ago when I had my last colonoscopy it showed inflammation in my appendix,this turned out to be a Fecalis (sp?) He seems to think this is now causing appendicitis or that it may have gotten worse due to my remicade. He scheduled me for an emergency scope on Wednesday February 13th, wish me luck!!

I've heard that appendicitis and CD can be similar with symptoms, infact, many have had their appenix removed only to find out it was really crohns behind their health issues.

If you ever get a bowel resection performed, the surgeon might as well remove your appendix at the same time. In fact, most who have been through resections do just that.
