surgery

Well I had another colonoscopy on Wednesday and my GI is pretty sure it is my appendix that has been causing my latest pains. He is going to speak to a surgeon about my case to see if they are able to take out only my appendix. WHen I went for my last colonoscopy a year and a half ago my GI told me my appendix was swollen but if they removed it they would probably need to remove some of my intestines as well, as anyone else hear dof this before?

probably you need to ask him or her why that is the case. I know when I had a hysterectomy they took out my appenidix, but I don't know how it works the other way. you probably just need to wait to see what the surgeon says.
