weird tongue symptoms..

Do any of you ever get anything weird on your tongue. I've occassionally had mouth ulcers, especially when the flare has been really bad, but never anything on the tongue. And no, it's nothing else of a different nature...if you know what I mean.

Basically my tongue is kinda swollen, it feels as though I've burnt it, and there are some bumps scattered around.

I'm 25 mg of Methotrexate, perhaps I'm just getting sick again..?

Oral Thrush? Fungal? Never had a swollen tongue but little white bumps sounds familiar. You may want to call your GI's nurse about it.

little red bumps , and what look like cracks? painfull? maybe some smooth patches? look up geographic tongue..

When I had my severe flare up 1 1/2 years ago, I had ulcers in my mouth, tongue and all my plumbing right down to my rectum. I was dehydrated and my blood pressure was in the danger zone. They immediately took me to the hospital and to tell you the truth, I don't know how they fixed it. I only know I was in the hospital for about 10 days. My recommendation is to get it looked at soon.
