help please! gas question

The only thing that helped amazingly with my severe gas and bloating issues was taking a fibre supplement daily as my GI recommended I do for the rest of my life...of course initially it increased my already severe amounts of both gas and bloating but once my system adjusted to it (for me, 3 months) then all my bloating went away and my gas is so minimal, just a little gassy before bed, hardly even noticable.

Thanks to the fibre supplements I can also tolerate eating fibreous foods without getting all gassy and bloated, and it helped form my stools, cut back on some frequency and basically helped eliminate mucus (I was taking bee propolis before I add the fibre supplement and the BP cut back alot of BM's and mucus and it stopped ALL of my bleeding and lower back pain, the fibre supplements along with the BP just ended the mucus issues for me).

Probiotics are also essential, often gas is a production of bacterial overgrowth which us IBDers tend to have...so if you're not taking probiotics daily (remission or not) then you really should.

This is what I take,

bee propolis
omegas 3-6-9
probiotics (Primadophilus reuteri made by natures way)
fibre supplements (Prodiem, similar to metamucil)
vitamins B12, A, C-Calcium Ascorbate)
Just recently added oil of oregano
