For those who have crohns and still have some constipation issues... and use miralax,  does the miralax give you the runs and ALOT of  bowel movements during the day?

Miralax made my constipation worse, so I can't use it.

I have used it daily for 18 months and it gives me the runs a bit, but when I stop the pain is so much worse that I don't mind the runs. it isn't terrible, I go maybe 4 times a day. yp

I only tried Miralax once, but it gave me nausea that lasted for several hours. For me Metamucil and sometimes stool softener works best

hey prof, how many doses are you taking? my rx was for twice a day, but I took it down to once

once and not every day.... just started and was worried it would cause alot of D and ALOT of trips to the BR. hoping not to have accidents due to the prolapse as well..

YP.. with the few loose stools.. do u ever have accidents.

Never worked for me - but then again neither did anything !!

... I still use Fleets when things go more than 3 days ...

Well, I thought using Miralax was going ok I have been using it every other day for a couple weeks.  However, the past couple times I have used it have caused me to be in the bathroom all night long.  Last night was one of those nights... never again for me  mad

hey, I am on vacation in portland oregon, going nuts in gluten free restaurants! I take glycolax, but I assume it is about the same. no accidents and I find it a life-saver. If I skip even a day I am in terrible pain, so I guess I will just take it forever. sorry it isn't working for you, prof. yp
