So yesterday i went in for my first colonoscopy. i was a little bit afraid i had gone in last year for cant think of the term sig or sid something ( where they only do the first little bit and they went down my throat) so nervous about
this one. On top of it my old specialist retired early for unknown reasons so the first time i met this lady i was bare bottom on the table :). I have to say i am more than pleased with her. She is taking my concerns seriously including the one with the Imuran and my hair loss and other issues. She doesnt really know why my other doctor had me on so many meds to start and still put me on the imuran when i came out of my flare. I know i dont have severe crohn's so i am happy she is willing to work WITH me on finding medications for me to take.
I have to say the procedure must have gone good although i dont remember any of it but i was in sooo much pain all last night and this morning something i never had with the last test. Another thing i noticed is you can sure tell when a nurse is having a bad day....Last year wheni went in for my biopsies shortly after i came too i had a urge to go the bathroom so a nurse helped me over and it was just blood but better in the toilet than in the bed i figure... so well this time i have the same urge..and so i called one of the nurses over to ask for some help..and she said well it probably just gas let it go its fine, and i said no this isn't just gas i can tell and her resonse was something along the lines of ....well i guess you will just have to go in the bed then. 
I was so ticked...but also still a little dopey so there was not much to do, luckily my boyfriend showed up shortly after and things worked out... but seriously i wish i had gone and that she would have had to clean it
