HI,I can relate to what you are going through.When I got divoced my insurance went as well and I know longer could afford to take the Humira.I talked to my Rheumy and told her what was going on and she told me that she would give me my Humira free of charge the reason 1because she felt that if taken off of it I would suffer and my RA would get worse and 2 there were a lot of people that have taken a first shot and have reaction to it so there for they have two options either throw it away or give it to people that could not other wise take it.So you may want to talk to your GI about this and you may find that they can help you in this way.Good luck and let us know.

Yeah, I went to the website for information and there was a tiny link for assistance. Dont' hesistate to apply for it, that's what it's for. Especially if it's worked for you, I hate to think you are suffering because you can't afford it! Also, there should be a patient advocate person at your clinic, assumming it's large, call and ask for them and see what help they can give you. Good luck and best of health to you. Janice

Thats cheap compared to Remicade it cost me 7000 every 6 weeks but i feel your pain on no drug plan. Because mine running out soon and i have to try out Ontario's government one. Hope thing turn out for you.
