about a year ago I changed my GI doc to one closer to where I live now. Since then every visit he preaches to me that nerve damage can be caused by low B-12 levels and it cannot be repaired. No GI has ever told me this before.
I started having general all over the body type pain about 6 years ago. Eventually they diagnosed me with Fibro. so when I had my colonoscopy last week and he reminded me again about the importance of B-12 I came home and like a lightbulb going on in my brain I wondered, is my non stop constant pain in joints and muscles from nerve damage and NOT fibro?
I am just curious if others have had this warning from their doc's?
And to those with poor absorption or resections..... TAKE YOUR B-12 SHOTS REGULARLY!!!
