started one today.. also got right on my prednisone like a good boy.  staying about 102... woo hoo tongue

Hi Randy See things are heating up for you again lets hope the pred. does it for you , your almost as disciplined as my dog now ,caught him walking across the table today so don't try any weird stuff. lol gail

doing better today so far.. gosh all night it was sweat and freeze, sweat and freeze.. fan on fan off etc... did get up and wash , both me and the bedding! thanks for the thoughts

I vote we all take up a collection to move Randy to a colder climate....such as ALASKA! Maybe then he could get rid of those dang fevers!

all better, just finished my prednisone burst ... 40,40 ,20,10,5. has worked three times now. kept them at 102 and shorter duration.. progress maybe?

ooo, ooo, rando!! i know last time i suggested a cold bath submersion, but, i got it this time!!..............
ya go to radio shack and get one of the cans of 'cold shot' that they use for diagnosing transistors and circuit boards (or even a can of R134), ..........hook that sucker up to one of your lines and let 'er rip! voila! no pred side effects - problem solved!

i know you wish it were that simple sad

hey, rando, i resemble that remark! us simpletons have ideas too!

sniper, i think i told you, my neighbor threw his shovel up and stuck it in his tree after that last snow storm. can't blame him. it snowed about every other day. now we just have hard freezes once a week to make sure it kills the flowers and stunts the apples as a springtime present.

VV be careful on windy days. Last thing you need is to be hit in the head by a flying snow shovel. On second thought that could improve your brain functions.
Randy, are they even trying to find out why you keep having fever or have you become tired of tests?

sniper, we have pretty much exhausted the tests for the fevers.. they have come up with the theory that it is little clots going to my lungs, (mysterious nodules that showed up) and when i get too many, i have a fever.
