humira and gas?

has anybody noticed an excess amount of gas after injections? i had my worst day in a long time after my 2nd injection. there was tons of gas and diahrrea.

I don't find much more gas than usual, but after the injection, my tummy gets very gurgly.

Gurgly tummy, diahrea and gas. Hope it doesn't alway end up like this.

No diahrea, but a ton of gas.....like earth shattering, house quaking, my dogs begin barking like maniacs when I release it type of gas.

It should probably be embarrassing Crohn'snme but my dogs actually freak out and being barking and growling like someone is trying to break in the house. Bless their miniature souls...........

That *is* funny. I've had a few explosive d sessions too, all after injections, and I've always worried and thought that maybe I'd eaten something wrong, or that the Humira was not working anymore.

Uhhhh, that is a very good question. I have not been on Humira long enough to give any type of time span. I've pretty much already concluded this is another nice little issue to add to my loooong list of other "nice little issues" stemming from any part connected to my digestive system.

Two years and it hasn't let up since. Actually, I think it is getting worse! If that is possible.

I've been on Humira for 3 months and have had gas and distention the entire time. It is getting worse the longer I am on it. My stomach bloats out like a balloon! My GI says I can stop the Humira now as I am not finding any benefits from being on it. I have only had side effects like this extreme gas and an increase in migraines :(

I'm due for my next injection on Monday but will skip it and see what happens next week.

I had extreme gas and abdominal distention after my loading doses. I old myself if it didnt go away i would even continue the shots. I ended up going to the hospital and it turned out that humira gave me a c diff infection as well as paralytic ileus. The doctors there said he second dose wouldve killed me since the c diff was so severe.
