We're thinking of you Kitt.

She is no longer moderating the Crohns board, sadly. She thought others with Crohns would be of more help. I really disagree. With the anxiety/depression many of us suffer with, could really be helped by someone with her tender words and skills. I personally hope she will change her mind and come back. I have read so many posts recently that always make me think, "wish I had her skill with kind words".

Skitt, I am sending you (((BIG HUGS))) and hope you know that you are in my prayers and if there is anything we can do for you, please don't hesitate to ask. We love you Kitt!!!

Oh my, now I am in tears and they are good tears.  I feel honored to think you really thought I was ok as a moderator.  I am battling with my anxiety and depression but I will surely drop in and I have been reading posts. 

Yes my hubby has Crohn's and now he is perhaps having a Prostate problem too.  I just reread his last colonoscopy report and his biopsy from May of 2006 confirmed colitis and biopsies of small intestine showed active Crohn's disease - at the strictured area where his small intestine empties into his large intestine.  We have been very lucky as his last surgery was 1993 and he takes no meds at this time.  He has survived 3 very big surgeries and some long hospitalizations.

This is why I do not have a lot of input on the meds as he has not needed any of the meds and he does well with his diet.  He knows what he can and cannot eat.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for you kind words and I love the CD forum as it hits home for me.

Kitt, my prayers are with you and your husband.... You don't have to have this disease to be helpful to us. Because your husband has it, and you yourself battle with depression and anxiety is enough to make you an expert on chronic illness. Besides if every doctor who treated cancer patients had to have cancer himself ,he wouldn't be any good to anyone. Sometimes an objective ear is what we need. And you have such empathy for all of us....you have a way of comforting others that is truly a GIFT!I think , its providence and I hope you reconsider..... hopefully you'll at least come visit and post ...we need your calm reassurance and comforting ways.

Holy Moley, the lady of a bazillion words is speechless.  Each of you has touched my heart and yes I will be on your board and give you all the support you need and answer any questions I have knowledge of.

You have helped me so much through this tough time and I am feeling so much more secure again.  I truly feel cared about here and that means so much to me.  I would be honored to continue to come here and post in this forum as I have said I have lived with Crohn's disease for 32 years.  My hubby was the first case they ever diagnosised in our community hospital.
