Early warning of a possible flareup

I have days like that especially if I eat the wrong thing. Thats why a food diary is good to keep. You document how certain foods effect you and if they make you sick you know not to eat them again. I would just watch it for a few days and see what happens. If it continues for a week or more, I would contact your GI. Good Luck!

I agree with Nanners, gotta wait and see where it goes. I have my bad days, but they are just that, days! If it continues on, then I start to get concerned. Early signs for me are usually pain, having a lot more bowel movements then usual (and turning to pure D!). This last one I got other symptoms before any of my bowel symptoms started. Which my doctor is now telling me to CALL him when I start getting these, and he'll order a blood test to see where my sed rate is. I started getting joint pains, swelling in my hands/feet, and then my lip swelled up. A few days later all the D and abdominal pain started in.

It's good to pay attention to all the little signs, but not panic right away. Just keep an eye on things, and if they continue (or are really bothersome) give your doctor a call!
