For the people who take this drug regularly, what time is a good time to take it. My doctors are no help and i've been on this drug going on 7 yrs. Is there a best time like before bed or in the morning before you eat. I haven't seen any good benefits since being on this drug. I hope to get a new drug soon.

I ended up having to take 6MP at night when I was on it because it made me very very nauseous and very fatigued. I would feel like I had to vomit before and after I ate (though I never did vomit) so my doc told me it was best to take it at night. I started taking it at night and it helped. When I was on it I just took it in the morning before I left the house for work. I was on 3 pills a day and took all 3 in the morning together.
The only side effect I had from it was stiff ankles/feet.

i have seen some improvements in the past 8 months. i feel tired a lot during the day even though i take it at night (i'm on 75mgs). as soon as i get insurance at my new job i am going in for a sbft, we will see at that point if i will be referred to a surgeon. he doesn't feel that trying humira or remicade would be beneficial due to the scarring in my ti. i still have d/urgent d up to 10 times a day and still on pain killers.

I take mine in the morning - 75 mg - with or without food either way. If I forget then I take it at the next meal. I have not had problems with it no matter when I take it and it has worked wonders for the 5 years I have been on it.
