When does Entocort start to work?

Yesterday afternoon my husband took his lunch and then right side pain increase. He said that lower right side area is more painful and sensitive. His pain started since 3 july then he saw doctor on 8th he gave him Entocort he took 2 dose of Entocort. He is on remicade for 1.5 yrs last infusion was 12 June. First dr gave him every 8 weeks then go 9 weeks.

When does Entocort start to work?
Does Entocort make the pain worse?

I'm worried why his pain come so early after infusion generally symptoms come near time of infusion. Is there anything else besides Crohn’s?

I started Entocort (2nd time for me) almost (2) weeks ago - as this is my only med for Crohn's at this point, my GI said it would take 7-10 days to kick in and start helping. And it did take about 8 days for me.

His reasoning being - (1) it isn't as quick acting as Prednisone, therefore it takes longer, and (2) when you have Crohn's your body just doesn't absorb the meds as fast and they have to build up in your system a few days before you get results.
