New Humira Side Effect...Chest Pain?

Ugh... I have been on Humira for about 6 months. The last month has been horrible. I've had joint pain and fatigue. I went to my GI for some bloodwork last week.

In the mean time, I've taken another shot. Now, I have a pain in my chest that comes and goes whenever I take deep breaths. I feel like I can't get a full breath in.

Has anyone else had this?

I have not had the side effects you write of at all, however I would stress that you call your doctor right away. You might also want to call the Humira nurse number listed on the information package insert. I think the nurse might be able to give you some good insight. Good luck.

I too would encourage you to call the doctor right away. Even if it is after hours, there should be someone on call. Regardless of whether the breathing problems are connected with the Humira, you need to rule out acute things like a blood clot in the lungs.
