Unfortunately, it may not be so great for me. Apparently, because I'm already on it, I may need to go off it and get really sick again just to prove I need it. The doctors are going to have to lobby the govt to make an exception...

Ivy, thats ridiculous, but typical of our health system. Here's hoping they do make you an exception to their stupid rules. Jo

Yeah, it's mental. The doctors said so too, so here's hoping. (But yes, I am worried!)

Nowhere near over, Randy. It's FREEZING here. The wind is blowing from Antarctica, and boy! can we feel it.

Maybe we can start the 'winters almost over' post in September when it is.

Ivy, this is a little off topic, but as far as Butte County, California is concerned, Aussies and Kiwis, ROCK!!!! I read in the paper last week that we have several firefighters here from Australia and New Zealand, they will be here for a couple of months I believe. We are very thankful to have them, these fires have been pretty devastating. Many people at the hospital I work at, live in the areas that have burned, some have lost everything to the fires. With the exception of four or five days, we have had very heavy smoke blanketing our area since the fires started last month. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

That's horrible, humboldt. We've heard about
the fires, and we saw the footage of the firefighters leaving for the US, and I've been hoping hard that they wouldn't affect any of our HW family. Stay safe there.
*hug*
I.

ps. You'd think that, in
the ALP's official press release
, they'd be able to spell Crohn's properly.
