Question for the ladies who are on Remicade

Just wondering if any of you have more yeast infections since starting Remicade. I used to get them all the time when I was younger but haven't had one in years. Four  days after my 2nd Remicade infusion, I woke up with one. Nasty! Just wondering if there is a connection or if this is just a coincidence?

I think you can get more yeast infections with remicade. I cant remember why exactly, but I remember a docotor telling me that before. I have never had any until I started remicade now I have had a few. It just adds to the fun of having crohns.

I have one every time right before my treatment. I just call the OB and take a pill wait 2 days and take another. I can not use the other the counter stuff. I tend to think mine is because of teh 24/7 pad wearing I have been doing for the last couple of years because it did not get this way before the pads and I have been on cade for over 7 years.

I've had 2 (or perhaps one stubborn one that hid and then came back)- and I never had them before the remicade.
