HELP! Remicade assistance

I have to go on remicade, and although I have insurance, my med bills are stacking up. Does anyone out there know where I can get assistance? I was diagnosed with CD 2 years ago, and have been hospitalized twice, mainly for blood transfusions.

Did you try contacting Centocor? They have a "Remistart" program that you may be elgible for. I fyou qualify, they reimburse you a couple of hundreds of dollars.
You may want to check out their website and see if you are eligible.

Bella, contact AccessOne at 1-888-222-3771. This program is designed for people with insurance but have high co-pays or have to pay a portion of what the ins. does not pay. Apply now so that when you have your first infusion they will kick in and help. Do it before your infusion is set. I have maxed out my out of pocket expenses this year, so now I have 100 % coverage, however, they will help come 1-09 because of the yr starting over and I will be paying plenty out pocket. Susie
