Entocort dose

What dose on Entocort are you on and how long does it take to help and how long do you stay on it for a flare. Sorry for the questions. I am hurting today (do to eating corn) and have taken my Entocort and not any releif. Should I expect some releif soon. Thank so much, Kay

Usual dose to start is 9 mg (3 pills) then go down to 6 mg then to 3 mg. It usually takes a few weeks to work. As for helping becuz you ate corn, I am not sure about that. I would definetly avoid corn in the future to avoid this pain. Good luck!
