I am currently going to the toiler regularly after taking Picolax and am not seeing blood anymore - it is becoming more watery and showing up as yellow liquid. Even when I strain no blood comes out on the tissue or the pan - so it can't be piles or they would bleed right? And if there is inflammation then where is the blood, surely it can't have just stopped bleeding?

Is there anything I am missing? Where is the blood darn it!?

I am so sorry to keep nagging about this but has anybody else just stopped bleeding while the Picolax was getting to work? I have drived up it seems and see no blood. Either it's proof that it isn't the piles, or my inflammation or whatever it is is bleeding slowing and the Picolax is working to flush it all out without allowing the blood to pool up?

I just had blood in my stool for the first time in 33 years. I believe it was from internal hemmies. And it stopped, so yes it still could have been from hemmies and it just has quieted down. Good luck!

The thing is I have been bleeding for a while, and was bleeding last year too. They found inflammation but nothing that suggested IBD. I have another C-scope tomorrow but while taking Picolax I have stopped bleeding, totally. Surely the Piles and Inflammation would bleed still?

If you're having the scope tomorrow it's just best to wait and see what the dr says. No one here will be able to dx you, unfortunately.

I guess you are right my friend, it is just bizarre how the bleeding has stopped with Picolax. Totally gone after weeks of blood.

I can understand that you probably want the bleeding to present itself to the docs when you have your scope! I hope they can give you a diagnosis so you can put it to rest. Good luck!

I guess what concerns me is that my hope of it being piles diminishes if I stop bleeding during Diarrhoea. I just bled a little but God knows where it's from.

Well if you have hemmies they should surface on a scope. Even when I had a fissure it didn't always bleed every time I went to the bathroom. But then again when I bleed from higher up with a flare it will also calm down and stop as well. So it really is impossible to say. Most of us have really no clue where it's coming from unless we had recent tests to say so. Basically we all just watch and wait to see what happens next, which is just the most frustrating thing ever I know!

I had a scope 2 months ago and they found 2 small hemmies but no confirmation that they bleed. Last year, they found right and left sided inflammation but no Chrohn's or UC on the biopsy. The Sigmoidoscopy 2 months ago found no inflammation on the left hand side. Thus, if they find inflammation tomorrow on the right hand side it's more likely Chrohn's in the absense of rectal inflammation if not then I have IBS and Piles. Such a massive difference between the two that it's scary.
