Please comment if you know anything of my situation, it gets interesting.
My colonscopy was done on friday and i had some polyps removed and some samples taken, and the report said i had microscopic irritation.
My appetite has been non existent since i was 12. (8 years ago) so i think ive had crohns since then, but the tests come back some time this week. i was going to go back to college, but i cant make any plans until this starts to get cleared up. i cant even work, so i am going to see my doctor early to see if theres anything he can do. my grades in high school dropped dramatically from middle school, and college my grades are terrible. Little did i know ive had a disease that has made me feel like @#%@%. I was told it was growing pains by one doctor, lactose intolerance by another, depression by another, thyroid problems by another, you get the point.
This is how it started:
When i was 12, i started to get constipated and my lymphnodes were all swollen. I was very depressed, and i was put on depression pills for 2 years that basically did nothing. when i was 16 or 17, i was put on wellbutrin, which helped with my constipation. since then, nothing had changed until 8 months ago in january. (since then i thought i was lactose intolerant, so i wasnt eating any milk products.)
so in january i tried eating milk products again, and it went well for a couple weeks. Then I started to have green stool, and it was like that for several months. Next it was diarhea and undigested food. I am unsure whether it was an infection or possible inflamation from the milk products. It was like this until about August, until an allergy doctor put me on prednisone for a severe sinus infection that she thought i still had since january because of severe headaches in my left temple (which was uncovered in a cat scan i had for a concussion in january) The 20mg/day prednisone i was taking started to make my food digest better, and there were days when i was actually hungry, and i had a lot of energy to play hockey(which i do and have done 3 hours/daily in winter for the last 16 years. Around August 10th, I went to see a new family doctor, and he ordered a colonoscopy. I got that done on friday, but since about 2 weeks ago my crohns has been acting up so i havent worked since last wednesday. I havent had a bowel movement in two days and i am sitting on my couch in pain. Thats why im going to the doctors tomorow i cant take this any longer. (imagine swear words where necessary)
thanks for reading.
