rash on my arms.....ahhh it itches.

like crazzy. keeps me up at night sometimes. its like tiny red bumps, they started on my face[that went away tho] it was like an itchy break-out and I do not get break-outs.....ever. So now, its mostly on the insides of my arms all th way up under my arm-pits. there is some bumps on my ELBOWS though and that is wierd. They itch like crazzy. They seem to itch worse at night, so I have been taking benadryl at night to help the itching.

I know its not a change of soap or washing detergent, does anyone have any advice or idea what this could be?

Crohns related?

 

It may be Crohn's related. Crohn's patients have a high level of IgE which is associated with allergic reactions. Your skin problem sounds like hives. Some other posts talk about a combination of anti-histamines that work better than just benedryl (Sorry, you will have to do a search of HW). There is the possibility that you can help the problem by taking vitamin E (if you do not have bleeding problems or scheduled surgery). I saw a paper that described vitamin E as inhibiting IgE, so it seems to be a fairly good solution, if it works.
