I fainted in class today and got asked by my advisor "Do you really think you are healthy enough for this program?"  Never mind that I half way done.

Navy - you can do this!! I'm sure you advisor was trying to say "its ok if you need a break." I hope you get to the bottom of the fainting. Make sure you are getting some calories in and electrolytes. I'll be thinking of you!

good luck with the fainting. i did that last week and it wasnt fun.. plus people can draw on you face with a sharpie while your down!

Not really sure about what to do. I hope that was what my advisor was saying. I have some speciality appointments today, to get further evaluated. I hope it is just dehydration (and the room was well over 100 degrees-no ac), and not heart problems again. I went to student health and they loaded me up for dehydration, but still have a horrendous headache. I am plugged into disablity services, but got it is the instructors progagitive (sp) whether or not to allow you in class. Oh well at least it is still 100 percent refund time.

I was under the impression that advisers never really knew what they were talking about anyway. At least not the ones at my University..I'm sure you know your limits better than they do.

Navy....hoping things are better today.  Keep pushing the fluids.

I agree that you know what you are doing.....don't let them talk you out of the program.  You always are so confident and assured here.  I am certain you can finish this!

Well, with a mixture of Crohn's, medications, and heat...there's reason for concern. Like everyone said, hopefully it's dehydration. Take care...

Forget that person. You hang in there... YOU CAN DO IT!! Hopefully some extra vitamins and fluids will help. Will keep you in my thoughts. I believe in you and KNOW you can do this. No problem!! yeah
