I used it for about
3ish months, I did not notice any differences in any aspect, CD or otherwise, but everyone is different so definitely give it a try, you won't know how it effects you unless you try it.

My wife has been on it for many months now. The doctor put her on it to conteract the Chemo she is on for cancer. It has helped her. From what I understand it protects the nerves from damage and prevents neuropathy.

I tried it several years ago, and I got quite sick with D and pain after starting it. So not something I'll take again.

i tried it for a few months. no clinical response. body builders use it too since it is an amino acid. from the gym rats i know who have tried it for that, they too said they didnt notice anything. it obviously serves a purpose, but from these two testimonies, i'd have to say skip the supplement and just eat meat to get this amino acid.

I take it at night an hour before I go to bed. I must say it does help to give me a feeling of calm (if my tummy isn't too full). It supposedly helps to heal the mucosal lining in the gut, thus inhibiting leaky gut. I take 3,000 mg in powder form. Works best on an empty stomach.
