I have no idea what to do right now.... Any advice?

hey everyone, I was just hoping to get some advice on my situation. I have crohbd in the upper part of my small intestine, with 2 areas that the dr said looked very abnormal on my SBFT. I was hospitalized for 1 week about 2 months ago, released on peed and pentasa. As soon as the ores tapered my symptoms returned, however they never really completly went away ( occasional vomiting). I went back to my GI, who started me on 6mp. I have been on it for 2 weeks now, and my symptoms are only worsening. I vomit daily, have pain after eating, and I throw up meals 5 hours after I eat. I have been eating soft, easy foods with no relief. I am seriously considering surgery, but I don't know if I should try to stick with the meds??? Any advice??

Please consider talking to you doc about your pancreas. Pain & throwing up after a meal could indicate a pancreatic problem..

I don't want to worry you, because it doesn't always happen in all cases, but 6mp is one of those drugs that can trigger pancreatitis....

So, before thinking about surgery for your CD, just ask the doc about what I said... I wish you luck.
