We just had our puter revamped and I've noticed that now when I post links they are no longer automatically highlighted when I post them in a "new post" or "post reply", they never worked when I did "quick reply, but now they're not working at all no matter how I post them, any ideas?

C2 taught me how to do them:

you write and then the words that you want highlighted, and then you put [/ url] to end the link.

I've put extra spaces in - take them out when you try to do the links yourself. It's so hard to explain how to do it without having the explanations turn into links themselves.

* close the square bracket ] NO BLANK SPACES
* then write the words that you want highlighted, and then write

I'm still confused confused before I got it revamped it just automatically did it when I posted links, now they don't show up highlighted...

You know what eles is weird, I couldn't read your posts ivy, I had to log off and then I could see what you wrote, this is also confusing to me confused

OMG I think I've finally lost it...this disease really has impacted every part of my life, I'm like mush for brains...HELP ME PLEASE!

I'd been wondering about how to make links work without the cut and paste thing. I tried the above method in a former post of mine.  It took several tries, but I eventually got it to work. 

I'm not sure what else changed for you recently, but I hope you can work through it soon. Your being an extremely regular contributor must be rather annoying to have things not working for you.

Thanks Brandon, you're correct, it is annoying, I'm still able to post the links they just aren't highlighted which means if anyone wants to veiw them they have to copy and paste and I know that can be annoying for people, I just don't get why when I post a link it no longer is automatically highlighted...I'll have to discuss this with the guy that revamped our puter for us.

He probably changed something. I've just had my video serviced and am having problems too - I wish technicians would just do what they're supposed to do, and leave our personal settings alone!

PB4 - you probably accidently blocked IVY.  I'm sure there is a way to undo it.  If you clicked the little thumbs down on the right hand side you blocked it. I think if you look under your profile you can fix it.

I looked under my profile and didn't see anything about un-blocking or having anyone blocked...not a huge deal though, at least I can still see what's posted when I'm logged off.
