shocked  OK  I'am not good at waiting. I have a app. for next week to get CT results back and just want to know if your Dr.'s usually call you in to discuss the results or do they usually just call and say everything is OK. I know they are not all the same and there wasn't urgent wrote on my chart but I am starting to get a bit of a headache from not being able to get in sooner. I know to hang in there but blush I don't like waiting. lol gail

I always call and see if the results are in. If they are, then I stop in and ask for a copy. :)

Hi Do you live in Canada and even if I did get a copy what if I don't or cain't figure out what they are talking about. lol gali

My first two CT scans I had to wait, and it was so irritating! I hate not knowing, would rather know the worst than be left in the dark. The results, when I got them, were both that we would just try other meds or continue what we were doing. The third scan, they kept me in the waiting room, then sent me over to my docs office right then so he could tell me I needed surgery and set me up with a surgeon the next day. So now I figure no news is good news as long as I have an appt coming up!

My doctor calls me directly with all of my results. I am so grateful for such personal service in this day and age. He is closing in on 70 and I dread the day he finally retires. Not only does he provide the best treatment, but it is apparent to me that he really cares about his patients.

Hi They don't call here or at least only the receptionist does the calling I had a long night of tossing the lower back has been burning as I call it. So was waiting to hear back about this so I can decide if I should call the GI the bowels are working great though and no pain other then the burning.. lol gail

Normally my doc doesn't call me, but recently after my CT Enterography he called me with the results. (Which were that everything looked good). If you are overly concerned, why don't you call and ask for them? Good luck!

Thanks Nanners but I'am afraid the receptionist is dummer then me.Hey you actually got me laughing on that one. I spent most of the day snoozing and sneezing. Gosh I sure hope a cold is not on the way. lol gail
