Does anybody feel a lot of pressure in the rectum/vag?

Likely the result of proctitis which is inflammation of the rectom from either CD or UC...if that's the case, you would need rectal meds to clear that up.

Hi I had the feeling of pressure and now have a wee marble size lump that is probably a abcess so it is a good idea to feel around and check for a lump just to make sure you don't have this problem. Mine seems to be getting a little better with the salt soaks. lol gail

It could also be a stricture not allowing you to fully empty, sometimes that feels like pressure.

YES - I have had that pressure on and off for months now. It feels like my vag, rectum are going to become one big hole.

I am getting married a week from sat and once that is over, my doc wants to do a sigamoid (sp?)scope...I have never had one, and quite frankly would rather not have one. I am just so desperate to get rid of this pressure that I am willing to be scoped.

This pressure feeling is also a symptom that IBSers often have.
