Yay another crohnie first!!!!

well i always take great pride in my crohnie firsts ,and the other day i didnt get to the toilet in time!!!! YAY other than that my crohns is getting better getting an idea of wat foods are bad for me so im hoping ill things under control for my nexy GI appointment

A funny story...I am on ambien to help my sleeping and one night I had taken my pill and then decided to check my email.  Well, I started to feel "drunk" and then the urge hit.  I had to run for the bathroom, only my foot caught the edge of the couch and I fell flat on my face and proceded to explosively crap my pants.  Other than my pride I was uninjured and my best friend (who I can tell ANYTHING) to had a great laugh and made me feel better.  When the going gets rough (literally) the best thing to do is laugh it off.  Anything else would be too depressing!

I am laughing so hard - thank you so much for sharing your story. One time I was at my sisters with explosive D....unfortunately, she uses scott toliet paper which absolutely sucks. Well you know how when you get up to wipe, and the d tends to drip on the toliet and sometimes on the floor. Well this time it was bad. I swear I went through half the roll of scott tissue to get the job done....and of course I had to flush the darn toliet 3 times. After much time and aggrevation, I thought i had cleaned up the toliet, the floor and my butt to my satisfaction.

I came back outside and my fiance looked down and said "hey - did you spill something on your pants" Well, you can imagine my shock when I looked down.

Of all places I had a big poop smear on the around the ankle of my cropped khaki pants. Now, I check my butt, the toliet, the floor, my clothes (front and back) AND my shoes before I leave the darn bathroon!!!!!

PS -Eva, I am sorry to welcome you to this exclusive "pants-poopin' club" - my best advice...by cheap underwear from walmart and wear a pad if you are leaving the house. These days, I am afraid to pass gas without being on the toliet.

Lol. I have only had one experience where I didnt make it to the bathroom ( a LOT of close calls tho), as a matter of fact I didnt even know I had to go to the bathroom!  It was when I was in the hospital right after my resection, and my surgeon kept bugging me about passing gas, and I just kept telling him that I wasnt having any...anyways I was getting really annoyed with him and later on that night as I was watching my favorite show House in my hospital room, and it was some episode about a lady having intestinal problems (ironic!). As I was watching, clicking my pain pump every 6 mins my tummy started getting a little bubbley, so I figured Id try and give a tiny lil push and maybe I would pass some gas and make everyone happy!  OOPS!!  I totally crapped myself, and all over my bed. Usually I have no pride in the hospital and would call for help in a situation like that, but I that night I had a really hot male nurse lol!  I cleaned it all up, switched my bed sheets and my gown, and never told anyone hahaha. 

The first time I pooped myself I was so upset I stripped my clothes off, crying hysterically, and shoved them in the washing machine before anyone could come home and find out. I was so embarrassed! So I took a shower, got dressed in clean clothes, and then SNAP~ remembered my cell phone was in the pocket of the pants I had pooped in. And washed. So my little secret? Not so much.
