Hi CrazyHarry,
First time poster, long time lurker (well, since February 2008 when I got my CD diagnosis, so maybe not so long) here.
I've used Sedacrohn for Crohn's Disease and I am fairly confident that it has helped me. What I can say with absolute confidence is that it hasn't done me any harm. If you read the results of the double-blind study conducted with Sedacrohn, it seems pretty clear that it had a very positive impact on the majority of the patients enrolled in the study.
For the record, I'm also on Remicade every 8 weeks and I fanatically follow a low residue diet. At the time I started the round of Sedacrohn, however, I had just received the third of my first 3 Remicade treatments and I didn't believe it (the Remicade) was working because I was still having a good amount of cramping. After 4 weeks of using Sedacrohn (which is one bottle's worth), the cramping and all other Crohn's symptoms have gone away and haven't returned in almost 4 months.
Your mileage may vary.
