Hello Everyone!

I have had Crohn's since May 2005.  I have been on a few different medications since then.  In December 2006, I got pregnant while taking Asacol.  I had a healthy pregnancy along with a beautiful, healthy baby girl!

I had developed a fistula in January 2008.  I was eventually put on Humira in April of this year.  Everything has been going well.  I was thinking about having another baby and have talked to my doctor about it.  He will ultimately back me up with whatever decision I make, but said that he is not really knowledgalbe about pregnancy and humira b/c there is not enough research out there. 

My questions is, has anyone gone through an entire pregnancy or is currently pregnant while taking humira?  If so, how did everything go?  What were your doctors suggestions or concerns.

I'm 30 weeks pregnant with a Humira baby. So far, so good. She is healthy and measuring right on track. If you search some of the posts you will see what a bunch of us have written. There are quite a few of us on Humira having babies. From my understanding, it's like being on remicade and pregnant - I have 2 remicade babies. There is a lot of research on remicade and pregnancy. I know there are some differences in the medicine, but none that seem to make a difference in pregnancy outcomes - as far as I know. My docs (GI AND OB) didn't even bat an eyelash about me being pregnant and on Humira.

Lauren - I was on Humira for my entire pregnancy with my now almost-6-month-old. Everything went perfectly during the pg and my baby is healthy and perfect. :)
