different diets work different for all of us...no one thing will work for any two people with crohn's.....
if you want to eat brown rice pasta and it makes you feel good, then by all means eat it....if it doesn't bring on the instant stomach pains and diarrhea, then your all set...hell, have another plate....you need the calories...we have a hard enough time as it is getting calories, stressing yourself out about whether a food is allowed from someone else's perpsective is ridiculous, only you will know if something is going to work for you....just my opinion
also my opinion, and according to chinese medicine, brown rice is the very best thing we can eat, it is the most centered and balanced of all foods, it is especially beneficial prepared in a gruel/porridge/congee/soup all words for the same thing i think, lol, cook one part rice to 4 to 6 parts water on very low for about 4 to 6 hours, crockpot works nice for this, add whatever herbs and spices or veggies, or chicken broth or whatever if you feel like it....get a rice cooker, makes life easy, have brown rice on hand all the time, i try to eat it every day, it helps, add some garlic or other herbs you like and some butter, or whatever.....
