Wow, what a lot to deal with...Not sure where you are located, but Albertsons has been having crazy sales on things you buy a lot of. Also, I am not sure if you are on any specific diet, but I am doing no wheat/dairy, so I have started buying a rotisserie chicken or turkey breast cooked in the deli section, along with 3 or 5 bean salad (or make it if I have time). I have tupperware I put together several days of meals together at one time, so it saves time and money. When you put the beans together with the protein, it keeps it moist. I also just started slicing up citrus fruits and putting them in a jug in the fridge with filtered water. That way you have a flavored water without paying for bottle water or having extra sugars you dont need.
I am out on disability for the first time ever bc of this disease. A great tip a friend gave me was to rent a tv series from the begining to help rest and pass the time. I am ashamed to admit the guilty pleasures I chose (all marketed to teens I am sure!) but its better than watching daytime tv and depressing news.
Another budgeting tip, I called all my utlilty vendors (especially those with competition like cable and cellular) to see if there were any promos or discounts they could add. If you get a compassionate person you may get a little break on a few things there.
Good luck... Jill in CA (where the whole state seems to be on fire by the way. Hard to get in a walk when you are not supposed to go outside AT ALL!)
