Something odd

I do alot of dry heaving, but that is usually after producing something.
I have haven't really heard of something like this, other then after severe physical activity. Did you go run 30 miles in boots yesterday? :)
Any chest pain or any other kind of pain? Heartburn/e-spasm?
Getting checked out can't hurt...

I did not have any stomach pain or feel like an alien was going to burst out of my chest. My stomach said, " your going to throw up. " My brain said , " Nahhhhhhhhhhh ,,why ? " and then it all happened and I was fine. Not a drop of anything came up. I am really at a loss to understand. I did not do any heavy work, I ate light. I was not looking at a picture of Viet Vet . Just confused is all. I usually throw up everything down to my,,, well, lets just say there is nothing left after,, but this time it was all for nothing. I will have to chalk this one up as a UFO. Urge for ought...

Sounds like my sister during pregnancy. Nine months of nausea without ever vomiting. But at least she was rewarded at the end with a happy event. (Seems unlikely in your case unless you are a different gender than I thought.)   Sometimes nausea or indigestion can be a symptom of a heart attack. But I think those who have suggested a stomach bug may be on the right track.

Talking on the big white phone is also known as "selling Buicks", "calling Ralph" and doing the technicolor yawn. Also "liquid laughter." Any other names out there? And why are there more descriptive terms for that act than for what we Crohnies do so well and so often from the other end?

sniper, don't you remember i told you a 24 hour bug hit me a couple months ago? the only difference was that i was drinking water to make sure something was coming up. 'worshiping the porcelain god' gave me a sore neck and ribs for a couple days after. i also, thought i might be having a heart attack or something at the time. anyway, i'm glad the 'bug' finally found it's way down to you.

pb4, i think in respect to sniper, it's a flake thing. thanks for missing me. i lurk a lot more than post, these days. i see you spend a lot of time over on the uc board. i hardly recognize anyone there anymore.......quincy, loneylane, red34, but they're all neat lookin' ladies, and i could prolly get in trouble at home talkin' ta chicks all day on the computer. i haven't seen dansky or marty on there forever.

it ain't just me, though. i've seen beta here a few times, but it seems like paulad and bullfrogken and snohare have dropped off the planet. it seemed like snohare had gained access there for a while, but has disappeared again.

sniper, if you don't stop the snow talk, i'm gonna make up a sniper voodoo doll and go out and bury it in a snow drift. yes, we got another 3 inches on top of the 5 inches over the weekend. while that doesn't hold a candle to what the folks in the great lakes area have gotten, i'm sick of it already. every night, i swear i can hear that piece of milwaukee iron calling my name from out in the garage. looks like my riding days in 2008 may be over. snow is in the forecast every other day for the next two weeks.....................maybe with the help of my voodoo doll, south louisiana will have a freak snow storm or ice storm...................heck, i'd even settle for a week long cold snap so ya hafta break out yer chaps and spurs and do rags and stuff.

I dont know about a diaphramic spasm Rando, this is the first time that this has happened and I hope its the last. When it comes to fluke things, you would know. Hows the fever ? VV the year is almost over so theres only a few days left. That voice calling you from the garage may be Milwaukee iron but its made for blowing Iowa snow. Crank that puppy up and take a spin on the driveway. You can wear your leathers. The great Carnac says, dont try putting a who do on La. You may find yourself sitting on a lilly pad catching bugs with your tongue,,but then,,,I wont go there..Actually we had a light freeze last night but that wont stop it from being 50 or so degrees today. All that means is a change of gloves. Haven't had much rain so the tractors are not putting much mud on the roads and I've been riding ever day. H-mom, I had heart surgery but I dont think this is related. I think my body just got confused about which end was suppose to be sick.

You are just trying to be more creative than me aren't you sniper!  Glad it's over for you!  I've never had the same thing happen to me, however, I once had several episodes that when I would eat something, it wouldn't stay down!  No nausea...just came right back up!  Let me tell you...don't try this with tuna!  I sum it up to some sort of "cow like" symptom...a chewing of the curd!  Nasty!  I also hope my CD in the duodenum (spelling?) never gets worse...I HATE to throw up!  I'm at least with the others here and hope you'll mention it to both your gastro & cardio peeps.  Try and stay out of trouble this weekend!

Their just to nice to take you to task for it. C2 wheres that broom you use to beat Bullfrog with ?? And as for your VooDoo stick man all it did was make my toothpicks cool. Just so you know, the roaming gnome had a great ride today and he's going to be riding this weekend too. still have not had to wear my leathers. Only trouble is my beard is getting a little long and it tickles my nose at 60mph. Best get some cotton on the chin of that VooDoo doll. Rando, be sure and wear your shades when you look at that pic hes going to send. It may say THAT ONE on the front but on the back it says WHAT???
