Saw the Surgeon today

Well the wife and I went to see the surgeon today.
It appears that I have 4-5 inches in my TI that has narrowing do to scar tissue. I believe she said 12 cm. She went through the whole procedure and really put our minds at ease. She said that I am very healthy and that I should recover very well from this. She also said that it is an elective surgery and I do not need to rush into to this.She said that they would use a catheter, but No NG tube would be needed. She also said that she would do Lapro.
Just thought that I would give you all an update. If there is anyhing that I left out to ask let me know.

I need to get off the Prednisone first. I'm at 10 mg today and my GI wants me to hold at that until Jan 7 when I see him again. The surgeon does not want to really do surgery until I am off Pred. I wish I could ahve the surgery this month yet as i have met my deductible for insurance for the year. But that's not ganna happen. I'm going to try if I can get off Pred have the surgery in Feb 09. Hopefully no complications coming off the Pred..
