Anyone for I got it done?

 Xmas is fast approaching ,yes it will be here in ten days and thought I'd see if anyone wanted to start a got it done list..Don't panic~~~ just drop a note to let us know what you got done .I thought it might help with others that are not so good right now and keep up our xmas cheer.

Tree up ..got it done..door decorated done..stockings washed done...fridge cleaned almost done humbug no cooler..xmas village done..lol gail

The whole house is clean, finished my last work project, have all the presents I need (can't say the same for hubby so I may need to help him out). I finally trashed the pumpkin that'd been on my porch since October too. :)

I know the feeling Dunny. I did a SBFT on Christmas eve a few years back. I was done in record time because I was thinking about the great meal waiting for me. :)

Suprisingly have gotten a lot done. Tree is up. Presents wrapped. Stockings filled. Xmas cards written just need to hand them out :). House cleaned. . . . for the moment, Baby down for a nap lol. Floors vaccuumed. Laundry done. Livingroom straightened out. . . also for the moment lol. My child is a whirl wind in the livingroom so for the next 10 days it will be dirty clean dirty clean lol.

Good grief all of you have gotten a lot done. So far all I've done is put out a Christmas table cloth and straighten up the mess in my living room the men I live with love to leave behind :)

Only done one thing,,,done gave up on gittin er done.

I hang my head in shame, not very Christmassy around here apart from art and craft work following that theme, I'v been occupied with. Just the two of us this year so I don't have to go to any effort at all.
I have always found a Kiwi Xmas harder than a UK one. Summer time on a small farm very busy time of year whereas colder climate you just get to celebrate Xmas on its own. Snow is still a novelty for me, everywhere looks so pretty, my Mum used to say, "it looks nice on a postcard", so I realize if your freezing your butts off, you'll be rolling your eyes at my comment.

Gotten quite a bit done, considering...with the help of hubby!

Trees (yes, trees, we normally put up 5, but only 2 this year - family tree and my daughter's tree)
Gifts bought and wrapped - need to inventory and make sure I haven't missed anyone - I have a few minor things to still pick up and a few small gifts to wrap, but the bulk of it is DONE
Outside decor done
Laundry caught up! (Okay, so it's not Christmas, but I was so proud it was all done and put away!)

And, we had some kind friends prepare 21 meals for us and froze them..so now I can focus on our Christmas baking... I was worried because I haven't been feeling well at all and now I can actually do some goodies.. I'm excited about that! :)

Hmm.. have to mail a couple things, but otherwise, I'm good. I have to report back to St. Louis for the clinical trial on Friday, so these next several days are sure to be a blur! Not to mention, I've missed a day and 1/2 of work this week already... I opted to work from home today...because I'm really not feeling well...

Nanners - the pact post is what you want to get done, this is what you got done (and xmas related lol)

- I bought a dress and jewlery for a holiday party at the law firm I will be starting at in Sept. It is offly plain and boring but I figured I would go conservative since I don't know the culture there yet. I am jazzing it up w/ some jewlrey and hopefully new shoes and tights.

-I ordered hubbys big gift online and it is here!

- We bought and decorated our tree and put up decorations around the house. (Our tree fell off the car on the way home but didn't get damaged!!)

Heidi - I just did the litter box and thought I saw blood in my cats stool. I used the scooper to further inspect and it was red ribbon from our presents under the tree!!! Now we know better than to put the ribbon on presents but my in-laws didn't. tisk tisk. So far he is being good with the tree. The first year we had him and our dog - both still babies - they together chewed the plugged in lights off the tree while I was in the shower. So lucky they werent electrocuted. I caughed them, wires in mouths, under the tree.

Lets just call christmas off this year,,wheres that darn Grinch when you need him ? My wife made a wreath for the front door and she did some shoping . I've been working on some gifts in my shop but have not finished, I'm building some small boxes out of cherry and fiddle back maple. I have to carve the tops so they can be used for potpouri and my old hands start to hurt about 2 minutes after I start. This is why old Santa has elves but all my elves are on strike. I do get to watch a mouse run around from time to time. They come into my shop each winter to stay warm. I have live traps for them but they are smart little critters and its more of a game to catch them than a need. Anyway for every one I catch and haul away looks like another takes his place. If only I could get them to sweep up sawdust ....

Finally got the tree decorated last night........way late! Shopping is half done, the rest will have to wait until Friday night. Wanted to make a new quilt for the livingroom, got as far as buying the fabric. Still have to make DS girlfriend a stocking. Oh and I still need to bake some cookies.

Can we push the date back a couple of weeks????????????
