Gastro Dr in NYC area?

I need suggestions for the best Gastro dr in the Tri-State area (NJ-NY-CT-PA) I want to find a dr who is passionate about fighting the disease and helping me as an individual rather then clump me with the rest of the patients. I would love to integrate a more natural, holistic approach so any of those dr would be greta too!

I live in London so can't help, but I just wanted to say I know what you mean. My doctor is a consultant in a large teaching hospital here, but even so he definitely takes a 'one size fits all' approach to patients and he rubbishes any suggestions I try to make about diet or alternative therapies. He's drugs and surgeries all the way. Frustrating isn't it!

Dr David Feldman is associated with St Vincent's hospital. I saw him for about a year before moving out of the NY area. He was always kind, straightforward, and sympathetic. Knows what he's talking about. I'm a very nervous patient, and I'd recommend him. (he's a lot better than my current doc.) My Daughter, also age 26 is under the care of Dr. Lloyd Mayer out of Mt. Sinai in NYC. She likes him very much.
He is also a passionate Researcher and Immunologist. Can't say he is about the natural approach that I know of.
