I think Remicade has started to work :)

I had my first infusion last Friday and i am getting the next one in a week..
I am so looking forward to it, i feel so much better and i sure hope i wont get a allergic reaction to it :)

it still bleeds a little but i don't have to go a 20 times to the bathroom anymore, i only went twice yesterday a real breakthrough ..

I am slowly coming of the steroids only 11 days left, i think 2009 will be a good year for me, hope it will be good for you too :)

And my face is slowly coming back i hope, hate the moonface..

dont get discouraged if it does not work right away though.. it takes a while for some of the medications to start working..

I'm so glad to hear something is giving you relief!! It really is a wonderful feeling to have even the smallest amount of respite from these symptoms..keep us informed on how it works.

Update: for the first time in one and a half year i made it for 24 hours with out going to the toilet to do nr 2 :)

i cant believe i could be so happy about not going to the toilet :) hehe..

24 hours! id be glad if i could go 1 hour sometimes.. the day time stuff doesnt really bother me anymore but the night time, well its kinda bad waking up 2-3 times in the night.. takes a lot out of you, sleep wise .

I want to start remicade. Has the cost been a factor for you? I have insurance. Can I take it for a while and discontinue and have results stay effecive?
