Um I broke my toe and it won't heal!!! HELP!!

Okay so Im on Humira, and I dont know if thats why but I broke my toe on Dec 21st (my fourth toe/metatarsel?) the third bone down in my toe and it won't heal.

Its been 4 weeks and my toe looks like a freakin sausage, throbs constantly and stays completely swollen all the time. Its purple and blue and never quits hurting. I can't wear normal shoes...

any suggestions? I walked around in a boot for 2 weeks (what a pain in the booty!) and I had it taped for 3 weeks.

It could be the Entocort. I know it isn't suppose to absorb into your system, but I know that it takes forever for anything to heal in/on me (cuts, bruises, broken bones) because of my prednisone.

i broke my toe ( the same one) and it took about 6 or 7 weeks for it to heal and i wasnt on any of my meds .... so maybe just hang in there for a little bit longer

Sad to say but I think this type of break takes more time than this. It sounds too early to be trying regular shoes. How long did your doc tell you it would take? I would see your doctor ASAP if you think it really is getting worse in case it is an infection.

hmmm..how does a toe get infected?? just for curiosity

I mean I wore the boot fro 2 weeks like she said to do and they toldme 6 wks and it will be good....... but looking at it.....even in 2 more weeks, i DONT think any change will be happening
