We have discussed this in the past, my migraines are much more debilitating than my Crohns..... With Crohns, if I'm at work, I go to the bathroom and go back to my desk. With migraines I cannot even function. I am positive that my migraines are totally related with the medication I'm taking for Crohn's. Doctor says no, but who cares...I'm convinced. I never really suffered from headaches until I got diagnosed.
What I do, is when I feel a migraine starting, I take a pill then, because if I let it continue, the pain is out of control, and I have to lay down in a dark room, and pray it will pass soon. As you realise, having two small children in the house, it's not so easy. I also get migraines if I sleep too much or if I don't sleep enough. Go figure.... The sad thing is that the only medication that helps my migraines is a NCAID medicine, which is bad for my gut, but when I'm in pain, I don't really think about my gut.
