Stomach bugs in the house

My son has it, puking, diarrhea, bad gut pain. I have a thing about puking, once I start I can't seem to stop! I always seem to end up in the ER getting fluids and meds to stop it. We've been lucky enough to not catch it for a year, so I'm dreading getting it. I seem prone to it, and really don't want to end up in the ER again. :(
