Advice - Please!!

Hi!!  I was wondering if I could get some help from everyone?  I am 44 year old mother of 3 with CD since I was 20.  I also have a colostomy for 12 years now.  I am on remicade every 8 weeks(still havent felt the miracle drug) and 9 balsalazide every day.  I had my gallbladder out last sept.-since then my stools have not been the same. For the past month, i have had bad D.  Sometimes soo bad that when i remove my bag, it shoots out like a water pistol (sorry for the graphics).  I've been getting dehydrated, dizzy and pissed off.  My gastro made me go on on liquids for a day and take lomotil.  That worked for that day but the next as soon as i ate my toast for breakfast i started to poop again.  My poop goes from green to yellow to black to marroon.  Poops are going from watery to sludgy. They are also very greasy!!  Since my GB surgery, i have gained weight (tipping the scale at the weight when I was pregnant 200).  I also noticed that after the surgery I gained most of that weight in my stomach.  With all this pooping, sometimes - at least 1-4 a week, my stomach bloats and it looks like i am about 7months pregnant.  At times it gets rock hard!!  Usually when my stomach bloats, I pass my stools alot (all D).  Then the bloat goes down.  My stoma always feels like it has to pass some stools.  Is this bloating normal?  My gastro seams to think it all stems from my gb removal.  I think he is full of it!!  He also told me he thought I had contracted C-diff from the last time i was in the Hospital--he did no stool sample and put me on Flagyl.  All done with the flagyl - still pooping-always have a a sludgy output from stoma.  Feeling very fatigue and frustrated!!!!  What do you guys think!!  I am ready to go have a second opionion.  I feel it is my crohns and gastro says it is my gb removal.  What do you think of the bloating--sometimes feels like a blockage--no vomitting-just sick to my stomach!!   What would you guys do in my shoes? 

It is very possible that bile salts are causing your diarrhea. Removal of the gall bladder sometimes causes the liver to produce more bile salts every time you eat. Some people produce so much the small intestine cannot reabsorb them. This causes diarrhea. It's possible that your GI is correct that the gall bladder removal is the culprit. I am surprised that if he thinks that's the case that he didn't prescribe one of the medications that contains cholestyramine resin. The different brands are listed in the article I linked.
