sad  can anyone help me ,have had 2 sml bl resections but for the last 8 mnths things are getting really bad only weigh 38k now and i have a parcial blockage also feels like wind is getting trapped iv been to emergancy at least 1nce a month with cramping pain that is sooo exscruciating i want to pass out . iam having a barriameil on monday hopfully that shows whats happening dose anyone eles have a blockage and what do you do to avoid things getting stuck,also i am thinking of getting a iliostamy any imput on this would be great to please help i dont know how much more i can take.bex x

Hi I'd go low roughage soft foods for now .Hope your test show what's going on in there. Those blockages aren't much fun. For weight lost boost or ensure meal replacement helps. Are you eating at all? lol gail

Hi Just wanted to mention that when I got bad I'd go to emerg. are you on prednisone? Usually they try pred. to help get things better but glad your Dr. is going to see what's up in there .lol gail

When I was suspected of having a partial blockage my IBD nurse said to me that when it came to picking food to eat, picture it going through the small end of a funnel and if its something that can run through quite easily it should be OK to eat. I stuck with meal replacements and really mushy food until that phase was over. I remember the agony, I hope they are able to find out whats going on and help you feel much better soon.
