Is the crack in the very middle of the upper lip? Regardless of the location, there are a couple things you need to be aware of. Could you perhaps be licking the crack without being aware you are doing it? Sometimes, people will further annoy sores or cuts by touching them without thinking about it. What have you used to keep the area from drying out? If your lips get dry, it will cause the area to "re-crack." If the product you have been using contains alcohol, it can cause it to dry out more. Vaseline or petroleum jelly, while greasy, should provide a layer of protection.
That sore in your navel needs to be watched. If it is getting red, inflamed, or sore when you touch it, please get your doctor to take a look at it. People with CD can get fistulae that exit out through the abdomen. I'm not saying that is whet you have - just that you need to be aware of the possibility.
